This website uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no non-essential cookies. Nothing on it tracks you between visits or across other sites.
If you send a message through the contact form, it collects what you provide:
Submitting the form also records a one-way hash of your IP address, the first 255 characters of your browser's user-agent string, and the time of submission. The IP is hashed with a secret salt before it is written, so the stored value cannot be turned back into an address.
Using the chat sets one session cookie and stores the questions you send. The hosting and database providers behind the site process basic technical information such as IP address, requested pages and time of access, as any web host does.
Information is used to:
Personal information is never sold, and it is never used for marketing.
The form is handled server-side. Messages are written to the database behind this site and delivered by email so they can actually be read and answered.
Submissions are rate limited by the hashed IP described above. That hash exists for abuse prevention and nothing else — it is not used to build a profile or to recognise you on a later visit.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form.
Contact messages are kept only as long as there is a reason to keep them: answering you, continuing a conversation, or holding a clear record of correspondence.
Chat sessions expire after two hours. When there is no ongoing reason to hold something, it is deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information.
Ask by writing to asirijayawardena920@gmail.com, and it will be actioned.
Reasonable technical measures protect the information held: encrypted transport, hashed rather than stored IP addresses, and administrative access behind authentication.
No online service or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, and this one makes no such guarantee.
